I Deserve It All!

For most of my youth, I was chasing it all—fame through my modeling career, love from the opposite sex, and approval from everyone around me. Growing up in a middle-class family with a single mom running the show, I often felt like I had to chase something more. My mom, Lisa, was the “It girl” of her day—everyone adored her. She wasn’t just like Raymond; she was the life of the party. And then there was me, her nerdy, highly sensitive, and empathetic daughter. My mom didn’t quite understand this superpower I had, but she did her best, giving me everything she hadn’t had as a kid. Materially, I had plenty, but what I longed for was a sense of belonging and affirmation of my true self.

Fast forward to today: here I am, the amazing person sitting before you. But let me tell you, it wasn’t easy getting here. I had to fight for myself. I had to learn how to love myself fully (still a work in progress, some days), and more importantly, I had to learn to give myself grace. How did I get to this place of ‘Zen’ and self-love, you ask? Well, it took tears, bad relationships, a divorce, great friends, reading countless books, and, of course, some fantastic therapy. I had to master the art of saying “no” to things that didn’t serve me and saying “yes” to trusting my gut.

Now, standing on the edge of a new career and life shift, I can confidently say that I deserve all the blessings in my life—and I’m grateful for the ones that are on their way to me.

So, if no one has told you today, let me be the first: You deserve the good that’s already in your life, and the good that’s coming your way. You deserve it all!
